Three Figures #11

All the items that are listed here are vintage from the 1980s so they are not in absolute MINT condition. They are second-hand and come with wear commensurate with age. Please refer to the photos for detailed item descriptions.

This is a hardwood ancestor carving from the late 1980s (purchased in 1989 in Timika, Papua, Indonesia). It is 53 centimeters in height. The wood is a soft brown in color; no pigmentation has been added to this figure. There are no cracks or holes in this carving. This carving is in excellent condition.

The top figures (one obviously male, the second may be a female based on her pelvic covering) are standing on a third (gender unknown) figure that is curled up on the bottom of the statue. The top figures are holding two poles. Scarification marks are present on all figures. Price USD 125 for overseas purchases; 1,750,000 Indonesian Rupiah for purchase within Indonesia.
